Associate professor Natalia Bogach
The Faculty of Engineering Cybernetics
Faculty department: System Analisis and Control |

The subject of "Information Security" concerns the general aspects of the information security theory and principles of safe information exchange within and between local area neworks (LAN).
The reality of modern information technologies reveals the importance of protected and reliable internetworking. Beginning with an overview of vulnerabilities, threats and attacks to the computer systems, as well as the development and maintenance of security systems we continue with security standards, cryptography basics and protocols. After this theoretical background it gets down to routing and firewall technology for the safe network extension and integrating to global network. We assume information risk management and business continuity support as well. |
